Well done to our Year 7 boys’ football team (pictured) who were victorious in the first round of the ESFA Playstation Schools cup, beating Dyke House 3-2. Thomas Watson was the hero with an excellent hat-trick.

The Year 8 boys’ football team were unlucky to be knocked out of the TUC Cup after losing a dramatic first round tie on penalties against St. Leonards. The game ended 3-3.

The Year 9 boys’ football team lost 5-1 against Dyke House in the first round of the same competition.

The Year 11 boys’ football team continued their strong start to the season beating Dyke House 6-0 in the second round of the ESFA Playstation Schools cup. Tyler Marley (2), Tom Lawson (2), Connor Peart and Harry Witham were the scorers.

Our Year 7/8 girls' football team have also been playing well this season with a win last night in the U13 National Cup against Macmillan Academy. They won 3-2, with the score being 2-2 in normal time before we scored the winner in extra time. The goal scorers were Courtney Pigford, Ellie Wise and Katie Farry. Well done!
