On Monday night, students made their triumphant return to Easington Academy after completing a 33-mile hike as part of their Duke of Edinburgh award.
On their journey along Hadrian’s Wall, students faced sun, rain and strong winds while walking and wrestling to put up their tents. They returned to school with huge smiles, looking forward to a night in their own beds.
The group have shown incredible strength, resilience and teamwork in their training over the past two years. We could not be prouder - well done everyone!
