In addition to this role, Emma is involved in the support of new members of staff and recently has become a facilitator for the Early Careers Framework. She is also working with Shotton Hall SCITT to deliver SED days whereby new teachers develop their subject knowledge.
Emma has a BA(Hons) in Human Physiology from St Andrews University and a Masters in Education from Durham University. She has had extensive experience in many aspects of teaching and learning and has a passion for supporting other members of staff in this area in order to allow them to try new ideas and progress. Outside of school Emma regularly plays netball for a local team and enjoys walks with her husband and two dogs.
