The Academy uniform
| Ties, shirts and jumpers |

Plain white school shirt (no logos) buttoned to the neck (required, generic).

Academy tie -Years 7, 8 and 9 red and grey, Years 10 and 11 red and black (required and available from the uniform supplier. Replacement ties can be purchased thorough the Academy).

Black V-neck jumper with the Academy logo (optional item and only available from the uniform supplier).

Black cardigan with the Academy logo (optional item and only available from the uniform supplier).

| Trousers and skirts |
- Plain black formal straight cut trousers – not leggings, jeans or stretch style. The bottoms of the trouser must be at least 7.5 inches/18 cm wide at the bottom (required and generic trousers purchased elsewhere MUST be the same style and fit than those provided by the uniform supplier).

A black pleated or straight pencil skirt. A pencil skirt MUST have a small split/vent at the back seam. All skirts MUST be no more than 1 inch above the knee. No "tube" style skirts or skirts made from jersey material.

| Footwear |
- Black socks only to be worn with trousers (Generic). Black opaque tights of 60+ denier must be worn with skirts (Generic).
- Plain black, formal, leather or leather style shoes which can be polished. No trainers, plimsolls, pumps, or boots.

| Outerwear |
- Outside coats (generic) must be removed on entering classrooms.
- Woollen hats may be worn between the autumn and spring half terms.
- Caps are not to be worn on the Academy premises.
- Large fashion belts are not permitted.

PE kit
|

PE polo shirt – (Required and only available from the uniform supplier.

Black shorts/tracksuit bottoms/leggings- students are required to have at least one
of these items. The items are available from the uniform supplier but can be
purchased elsewhere.

Black Mid layer top – optional item only available from the uniform supplier.

Black base layer – optional item which may be worn underneath the PE polo shirt
during the colder months.

Hoodie - optional item only available from the uniform supplier.

Rain jacket – optional item only available from the uniform supplier.

Skort – optional item only available from the uniform supplier.

Sports sock - optional item available from the uniform supplier.
- Footwear – trainers are required to be worn only in PE lessons, plimsolls, Converse, or canvas type shoes are not suitable and must not be worn. Students are advised to wear football boots for football and rugby.

Pre-loved uniform
The Academy is working with Uniformd solution which enables parents/carers to purchase gently-used uniforms at a fraction of the price, with funds of sales going directly back into the Academy to purchase essentials such as spare tights. Using this platform means that parents/carers are not only saving money but also contributing to a more sustainable future, reducing the amount of wearable uniform going to landfill.
