A big round of applause for our terrific trio who represented our school brilliantly at the annual NELT debate competition, held at Ashington Academy yesterday.
Our Chair, Speaker and Questioner all put in great performances when debating with Rye Hills Academy and Hermitage Academy. Speaker Darcey confidently delivered a compelling argument for the question 'Has social media destroyed the ability to communicate human to human?' and responded brilliantly to a grilling from Rye Hills! Our Questioner Caitlin also put in a fantastic performance against Bedlington Academy on the question 'Should private jets be allowed?'
